                          Q/A

Q. - Is Hanukkah in the bible?
A. - Hanukkah is in John 10:22-23.

Q. - What do you mean by the celestial 7th day Shabbat?
A. - 1:14 And Elohim said, "Let lights come to be in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and appointed times, and for days and years.

There is no proof the current traditional 7th day Sabbath called Saturday is the 7th day Shabbat from creation. Before the invent of calendars righteous Yisraelites watched for the crescent new moon which started the new month, 1 Shemu'El 20:24-27. People across the globe need no other communication but only that which was provided by our Creator, we know when to count six days and then keep Shabbat.

Our modern day schedules show how far we have been brought into bondage from keeping the Creator's Shabbat. All the leaven associated with the modern calendars are another proof that the celestial 7th day calendar is the one set-apart and blessed by the Creator. The celestial 7th day Shabbat from creation shows a renewing each month which is so like the personality of our Creator towards His new creation - mankind, "For His compassions have not ended, they are new every morning"

Q. - Exodus 19:1 says “In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.” so isn’t this 50 days to Pentecost.
A. - The Hebrew text does not include 'In the' and it literally reads “Three month children Israel go-out land Egypt”. The feminine form of the number three is provided here but the feminine form does mean a numbering of three also. The masculine form of the number three is a primitive number three and can mean ‘a third’ also. Knowing the original text was written in Paleo Hebrew, is another evidence of the completed number three.

They were to number 7 weeks after they brought the sheaf wave offering of the aviv barley, which was to be done after the last day of Unleavened Bread (Leviticus 23:15-16) and then count 50 days. “And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath (7th day of Unleavened Bread, Duet. 16:8), after the day (1st day after Passover/Unleavened Bread - (morrow after the Sabbath)) that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days”.

The new meal offering for First Fruits was from the wheat harvest, Ex. 34:22. The wheat harvest took around 120 days to mature.

Exodus 19:1 states also that it was the ‘same day when they left Egypt when they arrived at Mount Sinai.’ Adding three months would give 88 days plus 5 days… Mosheh went up / came down (2 days), and 3 days preparation = 93 days. The Feast of First Fruits is a celebration giving thanks to YHWH for the harvest. There is nowhere in scripture which says Sinai and traditional Pentecost had to be the same day even though the idea sounds good and efforts have been made to make Sinai and the traditional 50 day Pentecost the same day. The spiritual first fruit was not complete until Messiah came; which event was future in time. Traditional Pentecost is really the scriptural Feast of First Fruits.

Determining the aviv barley and then watching for the new moon would reveal the first day of the year. Then 14 days later began Passover the time they left Egypt. After the 7th day of Passover/Unleavened Bread we count 7 Shabbats (51 days) + 50 days = 101 days. The wheat was planted after the first new moon of the new year around plus/minus the 10th day. So we have 101 days + 7 days Passover/Unleavened Bread (Evening of 14th day of the first month for 7 days) + - 6 planting days before Passover = around 124 days for mature spring wheat (not winter wheat).

In John 4:35 the Messiah also speaks of waiting for the harvest “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest?”…4 x 29.5 = 118 days. Messiah spoke this shortly after Passover (John 2:23).

These are the Feasts:
1) Passover
2) Unleavened Bread
3) Weeks - First Day Observed, a statute forever. The wave sheaf offering - prayer for the harvest. The start of Weeks.
4) First Fruits - 50 days later after Weeks, thanksgiving for the First Fruit wheat harvest.
5) Trumpets - Call to return/repent.
6) Atonement - Fast day to pray for the harvest (the souls of mankind) tenth day of seventh month.
7) Tabernacles - Celebration of harvest. 15th day of seventh month.
8) Hanukkah - Deliverance from adversary. Light - Truth.

Q. - In Hebrews 2:7-9 it says that man was made a little lower than the angels so how can an animal be an angel.
A. - This was taken from Psalm 8 and in v. 9 the word angel should be Elohim. Characteristics of the bird and cat family made them more set apart creations than other animals. Characteristics such as the gift of flight, physical and social characteristics; and along with all this favour they have no sin. Remember it was a dove which brought the message to Noah.

Some scholars believe that Enoch walked with angels and then he was taken. Other Patriarchs walked with Elohim so why was Enoch singled out? Enoch could very well have been a a first 'natures child' and walked with mighty ones (angels); and was then taken by lions. We do not know if the original word was Elohim or elohim.
Gen. 5:24 And Enoch <Chanowk> walked <halak> with God <'elohiym>: and he was not; for God <'elohiym> took <laqach> him.

The thought of eating the flesh of a seraph is unusual but when we consider how Messiah gave of Himself for our benefit, we then understand how this can be in the will of YHWH to provide for us, this being allowed at the present time. Ancient peoples had more awareness of the set apartness of living creatures, the problem was they worshipped them instead of the Creator.

Q. - Is the New Moon A Sabbath?
A. - The New Moon is not The Sabbath but we observe it to show our respect for the Creator to keep His commandments. The Israelites may have taken the day of the new moon off but no where does it say that it does not count as the first day of the week. The day you see the first sliver sighted is day one of the week, the next four Shabbats are given and then we watch for the New Moon a day or two and the cycle starts over again, remembering that once the sun sets this begins a new day.

Q. - It says God did not spare the angels so don't think he will spare man.
A. - Yes this is true in man's present condition who believe not the truth. The priests in the original covenant made offerings for the people and the people were forgiven. As priests and priestesses of Yahshua we offer up prayers and the rite of Messiah is manifested (Yohanan 14:13, 16:23, Hebrews 7:11-28). The covenant was cut, water to man, written in the stars.

Q. - So priests have the power to forgive sin.
A. - No. Scripture teaches that it is appointed once for man to die and then the judgment. If a person's soul has sin it cannot rest and they are held in torment. When their sin is forgiven they can then hear their Creator speaking, they no longer being in bondage. They will possibly even be able to experience a type of relationship with Him which they did not while in the flesh because of what the adversary had caused in the world. They will not receive their renewed bodies until the next resurrection and possibly only on the second resurrection. His word is like a fire a two edged sword and the word was made flesh and dwelt among us.

Q. - Belief in evolution.
A. - If evolution were true there would be more fossils of 'missing link species' than the number of species which are alive today. These people base evolution on a few bone fragments or skulls and skeletons which have abnormalities. They teach our children lies in the public schools with our own money. YHWH pulled together and created our universe during Creation week and made a word-picture with the constellations Orion and the Big Dipper. These are the only two constellations that really look like anything to the eye of any man.

Q. - It also says in Iyob 12 to speak to the earth and it shall teach you..
A. - Importantly we are prohibited in scripture to accept confirmation from YHWH by clouds. (Lev. 19:26, De. 18:10) YirmeYah 27:9 So do not listen to your prophets, or to your diviners, or to your dreamers, or to your observers of clouds, or to your sorcerers, who speak to you,

Jeremiah 27:9 Therefore hearken<shama'> not to your prophets <nabiy'>, nor to your diviners <qacam>, nor to your dreamers <chalowm>, nor to your enchanters <'anan>, or your sorcerers <kashshaph>, which speak <'amar>

2Thessalonians 2:7
For the secret of lawlessness is already at work - only until he who now restrains comes out of the midst.

2Th 2:7 For <gar> the mystery <musterion> of iniquity <anomia> doth <energeo> already <ede> work <energeo>: only <monon> he who now <arti> letteth <katecho> will let, until <heos> he be taken <ginomai> out of <ek> the way <mesos>.

'For being deceived from sin is working, until the time the deceiver is taken out of the midst.'

Q. - How do we get 3 days and 3 nights from Friday to Sunday morning?
A. - The other Gospels are not as clear as Mark 15:42-45 in showing Yahshua died just before the start of Preparation Day at the ninth hour around 3pm. Preparation Day is the preparation for Shabbat. Evening had come (night one) the sun had set, a new day. Now is the Preparation Day, through Preparation Day to the start of Shabbat - the start of Shabbat at sundown (night two). Through Shabbat to the start of the first day of the week at sundown (night three) and He rose early the first day of the week. Our Saviour was killed on the 19th day of the first month during Unleavened Bread and rose the first day in the count to First Fruits.

Q. - I don't believe animals are angels and what if your wrong about everybody being saved.
A. - Early images of angels is a lion with wings and it seems the griffen grew out of this. The two Kerubs on the Ark of the Covenant were probably lions seated facing each other with wings outstretched toward the center. Sar is chief, ruler, or prince in Hebrew and the owph (aph) #5774 could have been the sound of wings flapping when they took off, so a saraph (seraph kjv) is called the prince of flight.

It is logical that if a person is not thankful for what is given to them and even going to the point of saying they are their own reason for existence and prosperity, then why should the Provider of all these blessings give them any thing more? After all, they contribute to the stealing, killing, and destroying of the soul. These same people who say we evolved from apes and that it is acceptable to live lifestyles which the Creator says will bring death? Romans chapter 1:18-32 speaks on this subject and pay attention to the last part of verse 32 because the kjv chose the words 'have pleasure' instead of the words 'to think well of in common or approve of.' There is an abundance of scripture which show the Father's desire to preserve mankind by saving their soul.

Q. - Why the name Yahshua.
A. - Jewish scribes were instructed in the oral torah to disguise the name of the Father probably because of disrespectful use by conquering nations, or the borrowing of their tradition to hide the names of their gods.

The name Joshua means Yah is salvation. The name Jeshua (Yeshua) means 'He will save' and is the name of ten Israelites, being a totally different name than Joshua and also refers to totally different people in the scriptures. If Joshua is spelled Yehoshua you cannot extract 'Yah is salvation' from this. It's pretty simple.

"I have come in My Father's Name and you do not receive Me, if another comes in his own name, him you would receive."

Endnote:

The barley is usually aviv in Israel by the spring equinox date 3/20 but weather conditions in winter can bring the barley earlier or later. The barley was found aviv before the new moon crescent of 3/16/10. The first month shabbats were 3/23, 3/30, 4/6, 4/13. Passover and Unleavened Bread began at sundown on 3/30/10 and continued 7 days until 4/6/10. The first new moon of the new year is an important date for setting the time of the Feasts all though we still have to watch for the new moons to be accurate.

Passover and Unleavened Bread begin after the setting sun of the 14th day of the new year new moon. The 14th day and 21st day of the first month are Shabbats every year being the 2nd and 3rd Shabbats of the first month. Yohanan 19:31 calls that Shabbat a 'high one' because it fell during a Feast which was the last day of Unleavened Bread or because of the stacking of the double command to rest on the last day of Unleavened Bread which is also the weekly Shabbat. In Exodus 16:4 YHWH is instituting the Shabbat for Yisra'El, they were keeping the new moons but not the Shabbat at that time. YHWH says "in order to try them, whether they walk in My Teaching or not." Here YHWH gives two trial runs before the Shabbat would be reset on the next new moon.

4/7/10 began the count to firstfruits. The second month began with the first sliver of the new moon on 4/15/10 and shabbats for the second month fell on 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13. The third month began with the first sliver sighted on 5/14/10 and the shabbats for the month are 5/21, 5/28, 6/4, 6/11. The shabbat of 5/28 is the 7th shabbat after
Unleavened Bread and we count 50 days with day one starting on 5/29 and day 50 on 7/17/10. In Leviticus 23:11,15 the last day of Unleavened Bread is called the weekly Shabbat. Verses 10, 11, 12, 14, 15 reiterate the barley wave sheaf, 15 and 16 explain the 7 Sabbaths plus the 50 days in the count to the new grain offering which is the first fruits of the wheat harvest the mainstay of their diet. Verse 21 calls this same day a set apart rest day, it is the Feast of First Fruits.

Trumpets is the 7th new moon, Yom Kippour is 10 days later and Sukkote begins on the 15th day of this month which will be 9/23/10 if the new moon is sighted on 9/8/10. Hanukkah starts on the 25th day of the ninth month which will be 12/1/10 if the new moon is sighted on 11/6/10.

The new moon need not be sighted in Israel to start the new month and new week, Yohanan 4:21-23, just as the esteem of the Shabbat travels across the globe honoring YHWH. There are not exhaustive details about the ancient Israelite calendar in scripture but through the process of elimination and what is provided, we can worship with confidence. The Creation story was handed down from Adam but we do not see a day of rest observed in Scripture by mankind until the gathering of the manna and then on the 2 Tablets of Stone. This is not to say all those before Mosheh did not keep the Shabbat. YHWH blessed Shabbat and set it apart in Bere'sheath (place fire) 2.

Endnote Creation:

Genesis (Bere'sheath) 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim moved upon the face of the waters.

The hebrew yom #3117 for day can mean a twenty-four hour day literally or figuratively as a space of time such as a season or an age. We know that a day with YHWH is as a thousand years,

Kepha 3:8 But, beloved ones, let not this one matter be hidden from you: that with YHWH one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

One reason we have believed creation happened over six literal days is because the text says "And the evening and the morning were the first day..." however this can equally mean a space of time as stated above.

To sum this up, we have the earth covered with water. The sun was created v. 3-5... day one, the first one thousand years. Day two our atmosphere forming, the second thousand years. Day three dry land appears and vegetation grows, grass and trees, the third one thousand years. Day four the moon is placed, the fourth one thousand years. Day five fish, birds, great sea creatures and great land monsters were created. The KJV has 'whales' for the hebrew word taneen #8577 in v. 21, however the word taneen means 'a marine or land monster.' Day six the rest of the animals were created and finally man was the last creation.

Endnote Father's Name
:

Exodus 3:14 provides more information about the Father's Name. The hebrew primitive root hayah is used twice consecutively HaYaH HaYaH (HYH HYH) and is translated in our King James Version as I AM THAT I AM with the word THAT inserted by a translator. The meaning of hayah is to exist or existing. The Hebrew letters for hayah are Hay Yod Hay (HYH) with two 'a' vowels added for pronunciation. The intention of the word hayah in this particular place is that it can be read out from the middle either way showing an eternalness. This is where the phrase the great I AM (the great YAH) comes from.

Ex 3:13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

Elohim say again "Mosheh, say son Yisrael, YHWH Elohim, Father Elohim, Elohim of Abraham Elohim of Isaac Elohim of Jacob, has given name eternally, a memorial from age to age."

It is believed the Father's Name contains all three tenses of the verb 'to be' which is - am, was, will be - or more simply put; present, past and future tenses again showing His eternal character. This may be the reason some have rendered the last syllable as 'eh' so as to try and distinguish the future tense, however the last syllable of the Father's Name is future tense in time whether you spell His Name or say His Name the last syllable is future, even though it is only a moment of future in time.

The first syllable of the Father's Name is the first letter Y combined with the next letter H. The second syllable comes off this H and into the W (double u, uu) which makes a hoo sound, and another detail concerning the third letter of the tetragrammaton is the yahu attached to names showing the third letter is pronounced oo (hoo). Lastly the third syllable is the fourth and repeated letter H.

Abraham obviously adopted the simpler Canaanite / Phoenician alphabet after his journey from Babylonia though he would also have been familiar with Sumerian writing forms (pictograph and cuneiform) from his nation of origin. The Father's Name was carefully preserved in paleo Hebrew and should be spoken as an act of worship regardless of grammatical rules developed over time.

Many Hebrew names in scripture include Yah and Yahu which are abbreviated forms of the Father's Name and this use in scripture gives more proof of His genuine Name. When you see the abbreviated forms, you are expected to understand that the whole Name is intended in the meaning of the word. Yah is usually wrote as Yod-Hay (YH) and Yahu as Yod-Hay-Waw (YHW) in the Hebrew script, and most English translations usually render these letters as iah.

Here are examples of Yah and Yahu in the original Hebrew along with their meaning and Strong's numbering.
